For the last 45 years I have always thought how useful the under dashboard socket on S1 Fulvias (?) could be...…...if only I could find out what sort of plug plugged into it!
Can anyone help please.
My Mum and Dad had a VW Beetle in the early 60s which also had a socket and I think I recall you could buy a rechargeable torch to plug into this from your local dealer.

We need to find a modern equivalent that fits, is the socket a DIN type?

Yes it was rechargeable but after 50 years it needs a rebuild (winter project)! I found it in Italy in 2016 at a Lancia meet - cost a bomb!

Must say that I always thought that it was a bulb holder for a foot well light .
Explains why I could not find a compatible bulb!
What does the charging end of the torch look like?

Even more rare is the Flaminia sedan option of a warmer for baby’s milk bottle! Using same socket. Never seen one, only seen in a sales booklet.
