Unfortunately, this time it is bad news. The FCA boss has died in hospital in Zurich aged 66.

What happened there? He goes in for an operation on his shoulder and now he's dead? An infection of some sort? What a shame. He may have been killing off Lancia but his business sense was second to none when you read how he turned FIAT around.

I read somewhere, and now cannot find it, that the operation was to remove a tumour from the shoulder; presumably an embolism resulted ...
