I am having some of these unobtainable seals re-manufacture.

As many know the Fispa fuel pump was the original fit and while there is nothing wrong with alternative fuel pumps if you want originality this oil seal will need replacing at some time as a worn one allows engine oil to be sucked by the diaphragm and pushed out through a small drain hole in the pump lower casting resulting in a small oil leak on the side of the engine.

I have expression of inter est for one of these from a forum member and thought I would see if there was any other interest before firming up my order with the supplier.

It is a complicated seal hence the price.

Price £17 per seal plus postage (minimum as a small item!).

Please reply to this thread if interested.

Tim

I long ago fitted an electric pump.   I have no problem with a little updating to take advantage of modern developments!

Hi Tim, I don`t know the shaft size etc. but it seems to me that engine valve stem oil seals would do the trick if a little research was done? They are usually top hat type seals.

I am sorry but they have all been sold.

And a valve seal will not work.....due to shape but you might find one that works...
