My name is Mike Caridia and I am a member of the Tenterden Lions Club, a club that devotes itself to raising funds for charities, schools and individuals who need help – we celebrate 60 years as Tenterden Lions next year. This year is the centenary of Lions International and to celebrate, we are organising a Classic Car event on Sunday 10th September – It’s called the Tenterden Lions Classic Car Extravaganza and we have 11 acres for the show and public parking, a couple of minutes’ drive outside Tenterden Town Centre. We will have all the usual facilities including a display ring, food and refreshments, autojumble and trade stands, toilets etc..
The event is open to any classic or interesting/unusual car so we would like to encourage as many clubs as possible to attend and can reserve space for up to 16 club cars (negotiable) - exhibiting is £10 per car including driver and one passenger - additional passengers £5. I’d be very grateful if you could let your members, who live within the Kent Sussex area, know of our event, the net proceeds of which will go towards the charities, schools and individuals we help.
More details can be found on the Tenterden Lions Club website –
