Hi Folks

My 8th Series Lambda is fitted with Consortium fibre clutch discs and usually operates perfectly with no drag and no judder

However on occasion, usually in heavy traffic or when held up at Customs etc it suddenly binds up and will not clear. Another Irish owner has the same issue. Apparently there are rumours out there on the internet that the steel discs can warp under excess heat and lock up the clutch. It takes about 30 minutes to cool off and free up again, whereon it acts perfectly normally.

If anybody has any information or ideas about this I would be glad to hear

Thanks
