New Stratos seen in weekend glossy

In one of the weekend supplements there was an article on the new Stratos.
I remember reading a while back about this concept based on the Ferrari F430 but assumed nothing had come of it. Now it seems like a small, and strictly limited, run of 25 cars will be produced by specialist builder Manifattura Automobili Torino.
The cost is around Euro 80,000 ... oh that's just for donor Ferrari F430. You'll then need to find an extra Euro 550,000 for the transformation into a Stratos.

Looks "plus size" (to say the least) next to the original.

Just what I was thinking - another example of a bigger fatter modern car but I suppose a lot of it is down to modern safety tests.
