For a real oddity I read today (period magazine article) of a Fulvia with a 7 speed box for the Targa Florio.  If nobody comes back with "of course it was the...." then I'll have to scan back for what year and who's car.

Yes, during I think '68 lancia experimented with quite a few things in an attempt to stay competitive with the 1300 as the 1600 was delayed. This included various suspension layouts, a 1400 engine, the original F&M specials and also a 7 speed gearbox. It's all detailed in Nigel Trows book Racing Lancias. I can't imagine they were much of a succes.
