Title: Cavalitto
Post by: davidwheeler on 22 July, 2017, 02:44:28 PM
Does anyone know how to get a reliable response out of these guys?   I messaged via the website enquiring about a bottom gear set and received a reply from Enrico  by email to say it was available for E800 plus delivery so I replied saying please supply one - nothing.  So I tried again, still nothing.  So I messaged via the website and still nothing.    I cannot see any ordering facility on the website either.  Any ideas?
I have taken out the engine/gearbox because of a slight mishap.   A friend has got bored by his 1930s BMW and wanted something more interesting so I took him out in the Aprilia.   I took off gently from a junction (because of the worn bottom gear) there was a slight snick - and no drive.  The pictures tell the tale.  Has anybody else had this happen?   (I do have a spare shaft, fortunately).

Might have shut down now for the summer..... normally if I get an email quote I order it through his old lancia spares website order page. Its very basic and you just refer to his quote and pay by his card facility. At least that is what I have done - maybe others deal differently if not able go to his aladins cave shop in Turin
