She's an American teen with a very poorly 62 Bug she wants to have done in time for her driving test. There's some serious and clever stuff here. She strings together four cheap compressors with a Arduino controller to turn them on one at a time to avoid power surge. She makes an air drier. The gantry crane is an amazing thing. She makes a welding cart and repairs door bottoms. Discussion on blasting media. Electrical rust eating in a wing sized tank. Beefs up a tent garage to survive wind and snow. I was really impressed and learned some bits along the way. As with anything like this the presentation is probably love it or hate it, but I urge you to give it a chance... I got Zoe (age 12) to sit through it with me. Not sure how much went in, beyond a pack of jaffa cakes. |
