A consortium member sent me these pics neat job. the alternator is from Demon Tweeks part no. BR14S1-50A

Very neat, any idea of cost?
I still like the one that looks like a dynamo, but much bulkier than this, although you use the original fixings.

This one is on a LHD car you can see how tight space is, the alternator looks tiny

I thought I heard someone saying the dynamo style ones suffer from overheating due to lack of ventilation. Does anyone have experience of this as, like Brian, I rather like the original look.
