Very nice period bit of advertising, Appia or Ardea?

Looks like the 'caravan' that precedes the Tour de France or in this case possibly the Giro Italia.

Definitely Ardea, not Appia.

Lancia V12 Aero Engine.
This used to be in the Lancia Collection and we saw it when we visited in 2004, Heavens alone knows what Fiat have done with it now :(

The combustion chambers are interesting on the aero engine. I wonder if it is dictated by the valve actuating solution rather than combustion efficiency.

Raunchy little HFR! 1978. Competed as a works car in the Monte Carlo early on and then other rallys throughout 1968, for Reparto Corse. Munari drove it to 1st in July on the RallyInter Mar del Plata in July. Maybe these were celebratory photos?

There are a whole set of the promo beach photos with 1.3HF found on the internet. Keep them coming!

Still there as of 2014. The article is quite good, but a bit confused on the angles. Falchetto's diaries clears this up nicely.

That is a truly wonderful photograph! I particularly like that the toy car has obviously  been in an unplanned incident!!! A little damage to the right front!!!

It's a very well made model - probably worth a fortune itself these days.
