Given how rare Beta Volumex are it saddens me that people are still splitting them up. However the pre-war MG community highly value them. There is a business that rebuilds Volumex superchargers with newly cast end plates bearing the MG logo. Title: Re: Another hopeless optimist? I suspect quite a few perfectly sound cars have been scrapped just for the blowers.
As a matter of interest, what sort of money do you think a good engine, complete with supercharger, can fetch these days?
