Saturday,I counted 6 Lancias,I was told there were 8 at one point. Sunday,just my Flavia,& I left at 3.00pm. 1 Fulvia with the Stratoses,1 Fulvia Zagato in queue on way in ,but never seen again. Any views why more members don't attend? In the last 4 years there has been between 6-8 lancias from the club attend with a few more on the track.

OK the racing it’s not as tight as Goodwood or other smaller/tighter non-F1 tracks, but the array of metal on display, mostly half dismantled in the pits, it’s just too good to be missed.

I've always looked on it as good as the NEC but with Racing, Music and Summer thrown in. Maybe this is worth opening a second thread to discuss the club's approach in the members section ?
I've noted that the 2016 date has been announced so I will create a place holder event in the calendar now ( and forum see http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=8206.0 ) and then it'll go into the VL! update. Spotted this on the Classic Website : For those who missed all the thrilling action, an hour-long highlights programme will be screened on ITV4. The first broadcast is at 8:00pm on Wednesday 12 August with follow-up repeats at 12:00am Saturday 15th August and 10:45am on Sunday 16 August, plus two further screenings later in the year. |
