Title: Help Tracing an Aprilia
Post by: sparehead3 on 12 July, 2015, 09:13:50 PM
Hi All,

I've been sent an email and wondered if anyone knows anything ?

" I'm trying to trace a lancia aprillia, reg no: BJB 368, initially registered in 1938, on behalf of a friend whose father owned it from new and used to rally in it.
He's contacted DVLA who have confirmed its not currently taxed or mot'd. And has changed colour from the original grey to green.
Do you know if one of your club members is the owner of this car now or would you have any information on it at all? "

The "tracer" is not trying to buy it but does have period pictures and information when his ownership

Please drop me a line or post on this thread with any information ...

Hi Steve
I have records of about 60 Aprilias but not this one I am afraid.

Just noticed this!
Nothing recent on this one, and no chassis number.
Last records as follows:
1960: L C McCartney, Flat 1B, Latchett Road, South Woodford, London, E18 [LMCR 1960 p.5]
1965: [LMCR 1965 p.12]

LMCR means Lancia Motor Club Register

I may have a slide showing this car.
