Same car for sale in France, for a more realistic price:

I like how "Full Matching Number" is a phrase in with all the French:

====

Couleur : Griggio - Cuir Rouge
 Corps: 00669
 Différentiel: 1234
 Suspensions: 487
 Boîtier de direction : 1487
 Date de production: 16/05/1958

La voiture est à ce jour Full Matching Number, livrée avec son rarissime hardtop d'origine et en conduite intérieure gauche.

Strangely I received an email yesterday from the original Finnish (?) ebay seller (@£30.000) together with more photos showing chassis number, engine number etc:
"Hello

The car just arrived in UK on Friday from USA to Southampton.
USA clear title available, duty has been paid Friday.
I will be back in UK on 1st Dec. as i am in Oulu, Finland, where we own a restoration shop:
www.old-import-cars.com
Please send me your full name , address and phone number and we can make a
reservation to consider the car sold.
If you are a serious buyer then i can meet you on 1st Dec or later,
but not earlier as we need few days more to finish a project in the workshop.

Thank you,
Otto Joona"

I am not quite sure what to make of this - maybe he initially got the decimal point in the wrong place.....or maybe its something more sinister.
Whatever, I think its a waste of time so I have no further interest.

Looking at the French advert I realise that they are strange looking carburettors on this car - they don't look like period Webers or Solexs to me.
