Title: Spotted in Ireland
Post by: Kevin MacBride on 13 September, 2014, 06:52:52 PM
Anyone know this car, spotted at a recent rally over here, along with a few Lambdas. I don't recognise the number plate. What country ?

It belongs to a well known member of the Lancia club Belgium.
It's is a1954 4th series, but as the number plate 54 B 20 wasn't available, he had to go for the next best one!

Ah, I see. The plate intrigued me, as it's very similar to our number plate system. My car being 54KE21.

I didn't take the photos, I 'found' them on the net. From an event called the 'Turas Mile Mile' organised by the Wolseley Car Club of Ireland.
For those of you who don't speak Irish (me included by the way) 'Turas Mile Mile' means, in Irish 'The Thousand Mile Trial'. Pronounced 'Tor-ras' 'meal-ya' 'meal-ya'. Kinda clever in a weird way.....
