Title: 'Lancia's linage?' article
Post by: Richard Fridd on 08 February, 2014, 11:37:17 AM
From an old mag. The text reads:"The engine is from a Pinin Farina Coupe with the single triple-choke Solex and the rad is also Flaminia. Front suspension is Aurelia, with the 'I' section of the beam ruling out one from a fifth or sixth series B20. The wheels are also Aurelia, as is the rev counter and Nardi steering wheel. I expect the gearbox is also Flaminia and rear-mounted as this would be easy to couple to the engine via a shotened propellor shaft. You can see the outboard universal joints confirming either a Flaminia or Aurelia transaxle arrangement" Anyone know more or have updated info?
