Having never attended this event, is it a similar type of setup as Auto Italia? So if I wanted to bring the Flaminia GT and park up by the Surrey Lancia crew, I go to the old entrance (not MB World) pay and drive in, find you guys and park up. Or is it pre-booked cars only so I will stuck with the moderns?

Have a look at http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/details/autumn-motorsport-day1/ (http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/details/autumn-motorsport-day1/).
Apparently there's no pre-booking for this event. "Please note that advance discounted tickets are not available for this event - please pay on the day."

Definitely none that I could seem sorry we missed you, came home to dry out after the Benetton F1 display. a pretty poor turnout due to the weather.

I must admit that I planned to attend today. I washed and polished the Trevi yesterday, got up early this morning and put on my Lancia T-shirt and Lancia watch, opened the front door to set off at about 8:15am but changed my mind as soon as I saw the rain so went back in, sat down and watched the Japanese Grand Prix instead....

Not many cars, but some things I haven't seen before. Entrance tunnel, pedestrian tunnel, remains of seats on the test hill and some Brooklands railings. I would like to see the other side of the tunnels at the railway station if I can find them! I am told accordimg to the "sightings log" Brooklands is a major ghost site, with Percy Lambert being spotted in white overalls more than once! Also a rotting chassis and I would like to buy one of these badges if anyone has a spare.

Richard sounds like you need to go one of torchlight tours they have this autumn I saw advertised in the restaurant area, they have one at Hallowe'en and other dates to end if the year, I think it covers tours of the tunnels.

Neil/Richard,
If you get details of the torchlight tours, could I ask you to post these as as I would be interested?
Thanks
Chris

Saw this at a collectors fair today. Thomson and Taylor 1946. Despite the date, is this connected to Brooklands does anyone know?
