Just noticed in the Sept issue of 'Classic and Sportscar' a few Aurelia sales from a recent auction.

I would have thought the Basso car would have been more valuable.

Another mention in the magazine was the concours win at Goodwood for an Aurelia Spyder

The second one was bought by Lord March himself i thnk.

Yes I heard his grandfather either had one or borrowed one at some point, so he thought he should buy one. He had it parked up at last weekend breakfast club, which was amazingly busy.

I thought the lightweight car would have gone for more, it tickled my fancy, but I guess it being a recreation put the dampers on. I wonder what an original would go for now days, if there were any.

Talking of auctions I see Coys, Nurburgring sale (yesterday) had a few nice Lancias including a Appia Zagato which has been doing the rounds, plus late arrival 1946 / 1980s Aprilia Riva Spider. http://www.coys.co.uk/auction.php?itemID=3277&auctionID=35
