There is information about Andre Telecontrol shock absorbers on the Technical Information thread.    Working fluid is the same as in your radiator!

Looks great - you are right to get decent wires, if they break it can be a real problem -  it has been known to flip the car !

Hi !
This weekend i was perform last test of my Aprilia engine, this time with repaired radiator and filled with modern coolant.
Fortunately, everything is leak free, included  restored by myself water pump. Engine was run over one hour and reached max temperature at the water outlet from head 78 Celsius in a hot day (thanks to three blade ventilator), so i can now stored engine; paint radiator and prepare other parts.

I have a question - my carburetor, Zenith 32 VIML is in poor condition, although looks and works still good, he is badly internal corroded. Has anyone spare carburetor for sale ? Can be only both castings - main body and fuel bowl ?

Regards from Poland

Maciek

All looks excellent, the grill will be lovely once it is all re-chromed.

Looking at your earlier pictures has shown how I can grease my wire hangers. Colin sent me some greasers which although too big for the centre bearing will work on the hanger if I do as you have done .

A longer nut with Colin's greaser screwed on top - Great idea !

(The joys of sharing pictures and ideas !!)

This is a only idea to proper grease wire hangers. Factory way with unscrew nuts etc is very odd... I was put everywhere in my Aprilia greasers with same size to make further maintain more easy. I have a large collection of Tecalemit greasers at home :))

Certainly , later Aprilias had greasers on the bolts as you can see in the (very dirty) pictures. You have come up with an elegant alternative to it !

I am missing one of the proper greasers and have not found one yet ......

Good to hear you managed to get the tele control gauge. The engine plates look great. Have you got the link rod from the clutch arm to the oil filter? The rocker cover looks very clean polished up, but originally it would have been painted black..... a difficult choice!!
Best wishes. Ade.

I have original rod between clutch linkage and oil filter but in bad condition. Instead i have new ball joints for 5 mm thread to made new rod.
I know, that rocker cover should be black, but i like polished aluminum...:)))
Best regards
