Title: Re: Racing photos from Brands 1963 and Snetterton 1965 + Post by: DavidLaver on 16 July, 2013, 12:05:12 PM Not the 1000kms - the Lancia interest there was a Fulvia - but the 6 hours.
http://touringcarracing.net/Races/1966%20Nurburgring.html The photo ties with the Alan Mann Ford being number 37, and knowing the Lancia is number 20 I car read it. There's a text report at the top of the page which describes the attrition leaving the Lancia to take 4th. Look at the number of DNFs in the table...looks like more than half the field. Some 6 hours are longer than others. That site has some other photos: http://touringcarracing.net/Pages/p%201966%20Nurburgring.html The Glas 1304 TS is a new one on me. Fortunately its one of the cars with a data entry. http://touringcarracing.net/Pages/1966%20Cars.html There I understand why a Lotus Cortina was such a problem for the Flavias - 175bhp (from 1600cc!!!) and only 750KG.
