Post by: chugga boom on 19 March, 2007, 04:57:52 PM
bought my evo 6yrs ago when i had my midlife crissis, well goin through it again, split with the misses and brought the evo back out after 2yrs of storadge. basically i want to tune it a little, its at blue flame at the mo having a full system but i really want a stainless manifold for it too as i believe they make a difference to torque and turbo lag, any suggestions where i can buy 1 from???

I'm running a Hormann manifold, hybrid turbo and a pipe from Zagato.... Would like a stainless based on the one I have. As not loud on tick over and not in your face either.

Tim

Oh have tipo cams and a different chip.....  ;D

hmmmmm, gone a bit wild with it now, just bought forged ceramic coated pistons, steel rods, barrani cams, t38 roller bearing turbo and got a manifold on order!!when the engine is built and fitted its going for a reprogramable ecu, so should be wild!!! ;D

Forget the tow bar

Start saving for a heart bypass op.

Your going to find your car a little bit different to the Lambda (or in my case Fulvia one point six at that!)

Oh and start getting friendly with your local Shell/Esso/BP garage you'll be in there more than you think lol

I had Keiths Evo for 3 days before we moved, talk about wicked made mine feel so slow.... The only problem is that it is a licence losser....

The double roller bearing turbo sounds like the blower out off Mad Max (Last of the V8 interceptors) just sucking in great lumps off air....

sounds great!! "the sound that is!", only problem i've got is no one wants to get in it with me when its done! as for licence looser thats not hard here in north wales, its beyond a joke, the last time i got stopped i congatulated the officer on wrexham being a crime free area and having the time to go p*****g people like me off, £30 fine for a dirty number plate!
