They publish a manual on the restoration and maintenance of a Spitfire, it's nice to know there is help out there. It did not make it clear if they had, as they claim for the car manuals, stripped and rebuilt one in order to write the book. Somehow I think not. Andy PS A warning, if someone out there does buy the Spit, I think the Haynes manual will not be sufficient on its own !! In the 2000 Register ithe Aprillia s shown as being owned by a Mr I Sutherland of Earlsferry, Leven, Fife,and as it says in the auction notes that it has been owned by the same owner for years, perhaps he's just decided to sell the car and drop out of the Lancia world for whatever reason. I had a drive of it this afternoon, it is a nice tidy car with good paintwork, showing only a few blemishes, a very good interior, although non original fabric. It drove very well, just as an Aprilia should. There are a few non original lights, but at its guide price and considering one just sold at Retromobile for £36,000 it could be very good value. The green B20 with the central fog light in the grille is owned by Anthony Armstrong, it has been for sale for a while.
