Hi All

Just seen this on the Stratos forum and thought it was worth linking to as a whole range of interesting pictures, both cars and people.

Hi Martin

That is very much the problem. Good to keep having a dip into every now and then. Would be good to put names to faces

Especially like the old ones of what I assume is the D50 where I guess someone has photo enhanced with colour?

The post I put up in October 2008 is relevant to this collection of photo albums by Thomas Popper. The Stratos Club and its postcards were initiatives of Thomas Popper who was then well known in the Stratos community in the UK in the 1980's and he was a good friend of the late Roger Perry. Hopefully my original post and photos will appear below, otherwise, look back under the heading "great cars the Stratos"

I think the Stratos community always knew they were onto something very special. In the 1980s there was a Stratos owners club that even ran to having club postcards printed – see below for scans of back and front. It’s astonishing now to think that postcards were used to communicate at that time. But what a car park!
