Title: 8 Valve Integrale Engine Data
Post by: ben on 19 January, 2012, 08:27:03 PM
Can anybody help me please.
I have my 8valve Integrale engine in bits to fit new belts etc and a new set of exhaust valves.
Can someone give me the torque settings for the head bolts and the cam-box bolts.
Also what should the tappet clearances be--(and where is the best place to get shims if I need them?)
                   Thanks
                                   Ben

Ben,
Manual says Head Bolts M10 x1.25 tighten to 2 DaNM Final Setting 4 DaNM + 90 Degrees in stages.UPDATE Ben has just pointed out that I made an error and it should then be a further 90 Degrees.
Top Cylinder Head Bolt M8 ? 2.2 DaNM.
Cam Cover Bolts the manual states torque to specification but doesn't then say anywhere what that is ::)
Tappet Clearance see below.
