And whats with the one-piece bonnet! I never saw or noticed that before - is that the "speciale" bit?

The new look Omicron "cars for sale" section looks promising but is a bit clunky at the moment but it eventually gets you there - here is the link http://omicron.uk.com/php/phpclassifieds/category/flaminia/ (http://omicron.uk.com/php/phpclassifieds/category/flaminia/)

Has anyone else wondered why, having been an early adopter of web technology, the Omicron website front page and much of its content has remained unchanged since (literally) the last century ... it could do so much more - on-line sales even!

I did ask Andrew if they were planning anything for the website along the lines of the Alfaholics.com site and said they were but that was a while ago and I guess may not be top priority.

Omicron used to produce a spare parts catalogue Booklet for each model with parts available, along with other model related information.
My last copy for Fulvia is dated 1997-1998! I have asked a number of times when new copies would be available, and the answer has always been "we're working on it" so I was surprised to see that is still the message on the updated site, I think Omicron are really missing a trick here.

On another tack and I know it's each to their own, but does anyone else go blank, and switch off with no further interest, when against a vehicle for sale is the dreaded POA, I just don't understand the logic of advertising something for sale, and then keeping it a secret what you want for it ???

Brian, I'm absolutely with you on the POA thing, It is ridiculous not to advise a price, I immediately default to 'this guy will try to rip me off rather than be honest (even if ambitious) about what he wants/expects. The 'offers' option is at least understandable, but POA has saving graces whatsoever.

POA has saving graces whatsoever.

One possible explanation if not saving grace (doesn't apply to traders though) might be that the seller doesn't want somebody close to them to know how much they think their car is worth...

So is 60k a fair price for the barnfind?

This doesn't look like it came out of Via Giorgini to me, although it is clearly a professional job. The dash has been modified, too - again doesn't look quite right somehow. The price also suggests to me that the conversion may be of the hand of a talented amateur, as Erker's stock is not renowned for being lowly priced (which this would very much be if it was pukka Zagato).

Nice, though!

So is the price published as I did not see it in the ad

I misunderstood Richard - I assumed you'd enquiried and been told it was 60k. There is no price listed on his website, so please do enquire. In that case let's guess the answer....

my guess is 60k then until enquiries can be made

You'll be lucky :)

I reckon more - it is a first series after all, which are the most desirable

Couldn't see vendors contact details on my blackberry so wrongly assumed omicron was the vendor so the only estimate I have been given is 20 -30K!

Also on the Omicron site is an Aurelia B20 for restoration , anyone know what they want for it? An Aprilia behind it in same photo too!

The B20 comes with new floor, assume thats old stock or?
