Don't bother! I had to put an ugly milk container just behind the grille to comply with the 3 litre (!) rule on catch tanks, so it doesn't look very nice from the front.

When I last competed in it 40 years ago the catch tank requirements were, I think 1 pint.

Where do you fit a 3 litre container under the bonnet? I couldn't find the space. However I was pleased to search out the oil filler caps I modified all those years ago when spares were cheap and plentiful.

Anyway the car went well, although I used it as an extended running-in session, not going above 4500rpm and not gassing it too much on the manoeuverability/speed tests. It's only done about 3000 miles since a rebuild.  I was only just out of the awards, which says that at least a 3rd class should normally be achievable, barring misfortunes.

Louise lapped me twice but I think she was trying harder. She got a 3rd class, well done

But you should have seen Jason in his Fiat Coupe! 3rd overall, fantastic!
