Title: How do you go about protecting new metal? Post by: ah_sprite on 15 February, 2011, 04:47:46 PM Not sure this is the correct part of the forum to be asking, but the question isn't really model specific.
I'm in the process of fitting new sills and s/f boxes to my Fulvia. The question is, what do you all think is the best way to go about protecting the metal inside the sills, that obviously is unpainted. Title: Re: How do you go about protecting new metal? Then drill a couple of 10mm access holes and give a yearly squirt of dinatrol or somesuch.
For the subframe boxes I would do the same to the enclosed surfaces, then paint the exposed surfaces again with a good dose of something like dintrol. |
