Going to view a nice looking 2000 Saloon. Apart from bodywork, what else is worth observing.

Hi Kevin, I test drove this car many years ago, The vendor had just replaced the engine and re-painted the body work, he bought the engine from Pat White which was an ex Vinny Brady engine I think from a 2000 coupe. Judging from the photo's it looks like the doors have been painted since. When I drove the car the brakes were awful, The guy did'ent know much about the servicing of the brakes. ALL ROUND IT WAS A NICE CAR :) At the time I was looking for a Fulvia coupe or somthing a bit more sporty. But this was the first type of lancia I saw when I was about ten years old and I had to take a look at it, as you know I ended up with a HF2000 Coupe and was and I am still very happy with it ;D
