the open top would be nice in the summer but I've yet to see an aprilia coachbuilt variant that is as nice as the standard car.Mostly they seem a bit lumpy and unrefined by comparison

Yes, it's hard to beat the original. This is one of the best cabriolets I have seen. I took the photo on an Aprilia Registro meeting in May 1997. Can't remember who the coachbuilder is though.

I loved the Graber bodied one at Turin 2006, in fact given the choice of any Lancia on show there this is the one I'd have taken home, so elegant, not to say I couldn't be tempted by the PF as well.

In the Heading for the Graber, O. Romagnoli is the owners name, and P. Borsotti was the PF''s owners name, just in case anyone thought it might be another body builder!

More photos.
, Must say I prefer the instrument panel on the PF, the Graber one is a bit too plain for my liking, I also loved the Club Italia Cushion.

Just a query, how come it says that the maximum attachment size allowed; 512Kb per 8 posts, which I reckon is 4096KBs, but if you try to upload photos to this amount an error message comes up as file to big, maximum allowed is 2048KBs ???

Back in 1996 at Lingotto I took the following pictures which show the profiles of the standard Aprilia and convertible nicely.

No, it isn't Andrew's car. Wrong wheels, etc.

I only looked at the small photo and the eyesight is starting to fail with the ever advancing years....

The Augusta & Aprilia Cabrio were both Italian registered. The Aprilia Saloon was the one I owned at the time: FLE 851. Ed
