Unfortunately, I will not be able to make it this year as I was foolish enough to fall off my mountain bike and break my back.

Fortunately it is healing well and am now targeting to be able to make it over for the AGM.

I hope it is a bit warmer for you this time.

Jim

Yes, it was great this year and will be there, but like most, only IF the weather is reasonable.

I'd be there regardless of the weather (roads being passable of course) if only I was in the UK.  :'(

Have a cuppa in the tea room for me please!  Missing you all.

Hello Guy,
Sorry the SA contingent won't be able to make it this year, so I'll be thinking of you when I pour my tea into the saucer before blowing on it :D

Brian, while you are about it, don't forget the handkerchief tied with a knot at each corner to keep the sun off!   ;)

Brian, seems you were correct, the museum called me back, as the event has become more popular, the museum have started to reserve areas behind the hangar, I have provisionally booked 10 places, we can add to that if required.   Gates open from 9.30am, entrance from Brooklands Road, pre 1973 cars get a £1 off the entrance fee.

Can I suggest you send me an email (surreylancia@ntlworld.com) if you would like to come along to gauge numbers and I can arrange further spaces if required.

Well, at the moment the weather's looking ok for next Saturday so might try and make this one as the Fulvia hasn't been run since June! do we know how many want to attend?

Jonathan and I very much enjoyed the event even if we travelled home courtesy of the AA once again! :( Modestine disgraced herself by boiling as we arrived and again a mile or two into the homeward journey.

Robin, sorry to hear you required the services of the AA yesterday, I hope it just a minor radiator clean/flush that is required, good news on that spare head gasket!
