Title: Bristol Area Christmas Dinner - Saturday 18 December Post by: Betaboy2.0 on 20 September, 2010, 09:59:12 PM Are we the first to book our area Christmas meal?
Saturday 18 December, 7.30pm at The Bell, Yatton Keynell (the same as last year) The price remains unchanged from last year (which if I could remember what it was then, I would be able to tell you what it will be). Food at The Bell is always good, children can eat from the bar menu if they prefer, or have the meal at half adult price. Menu will be printed in the next couple of weeks, so I will put it on here once they have it completed. In the meantime, please let me know if you would like to come - all welcome, up to a max of 22 people. Closer to the time I will need a £10 per head deposit - but that is something else for a later date Regards Andy Title: Re: Bristol Area Christmas Dinner - Saturday 18 December Post by: HPEHF on 21 September, 2010, 12:17:03 PM Andy,

family commitments. (at least I won't be waking all your neighbours as I depart) Geoff Title: Re: Bristol Area Christmas Dinner - Saturday 18 December Post by: Betaboy2.0 on 13 December, 2010, 10:05:45 PM Only a few days to go now, and if you haven't already let me know, I do urgently need your menu options by noon tomorrow (tuesday). Title: Re: Bristol Area Christmas Dinner - Saturday 18 December Post by: HPEHF on 20 December, 2010, 01:23:43 PM Thanks to Andy for organising the Christmas Meal.
11 managed to make it out to Yatton Kendall in the snow, wonderfull meal and company made the evening. Happy Christmas to all. Regards Simon Davis Title: Re: Bristol Area Christmas Dinner - Saturday 18 December Post by: lee69 on 20 December, 2010, 05:05:57 PM Sorry we couldn't make it in the end. As the Smart's actually quite capable in such conditions (engine over the driven wheels and skinny tyres) we had every intention of braving the snow, only to wake up on Saturday morning to find more had fallen and the roads out of the Ironbridge were impassable or closed. The M5 was eventually closed in Worcestershire - we'd have been well and truly stuck.
Merry Christmas all! Lee |
