Title: Part numbers for Ducellier ignition bits?
Post by: zagatoman on 26 August, 2010, 10:12:17 AM
Hi all, just want to pick your brains again.

Can anyone please supply me with part numbers for Ducellier ignition bits for a 1968 Fulvia Zagato 1300cc

Points
Condenser
Rotor arm
Cap.

Alternatively, has anyone got a Marelli distributor for a 1300cc Fulvia Sport Zagato they don’t want?

Hi Tim,

Funds are short so will have to go with the Marelli distributor if I cant get the Ducellier ignition bits.

Would be nice though.

I might have a new Ducellier distributor among my spares. I will check it at the weekend and will let you know if available. Regards, Andrea

Hi Andrea,

thanks for the offering to look for the Ducellier distributor, I actually need a Marelli distributor. The problem is I cant find ignition parts for my car with the Ducellier distributor so have decided to fit a Marelli distributor that I can get parts for.

I would still like to use my Ducellier distributor, would you have and ignition parts for this?

Thanks again, Paul

Hi Paul,
I do have a Ducellier distributor complete but used and in good conditions. I can send you a couple of photos if you give me your e-mail address (they are quite large). The type of Ducellier I have is 4206A. I am not sure what the exact problem with your distributor is (apart from scarcity of spares). Nonetheless, I think that the same distributor was fitted to a range of French cars of the 60s. Have you tried to cross reference it to Renault and Peugeot? From distant memory, I think this one uses a rotor arm which was very similar to the one of my Renault 12.
Marelli distributors: with four Fulvias at home I regrettably cannot risk parting with any.
Best regards, Andrea

Hello Paul
To take Andrea's idea a bit further< I run an Alpine Renault and have no problems getting bits for the Ducellier. Try a firm called Meca Parts (good website) or GBS (not so good), both Renault dedicated.. You will need the number on the side of the dizzy and they are French so postage will be heavy but worth a try if you're desperate.

Have you tried
http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk?
They do some Beta stuff, Dedra, A112, Thema, nothing listed for Fulvia but they might be able to get you a number.
