Post by: peterbaker on 03 August, 2010, 11:04:21 AM
We have recieved regulations, which features a 'works' Fulvia on the cover, at Retro-Speed for Rallye Monte Carlo Historique running between 26 Jan/2 Feb 2011. Great news is Glasgow has been chosen as one of the seven starting points. First car will leave Blythwood Square at 14.00hrs on 27 Jan. This could be a fantastic oppotunity to see the cars as they travel down to Dover.

Fifty cars including some very interesting Lancias will leave Glasgow on January 27th at 18.30 on the long journey south. The Monte Carlo Rally Historic or to use its proper name Rallye Monte Carlo Historique is celebrating 100 years and over three hundred entries have been accepted, they meet up at Reims where the concentration run takes them non stop to Monaco. After a break there then begins two days of mountain driving followed by the famous last night 'loop' with the Col de Turini on the list. This is the winter equivilent of the Mille Miglia with many star drivers taking part. www.retro-speed.co.uk will be reporting from the event and may even provide a service crew for a Lancia Fulvia team.
