When the Delta was first announced as possibly being made in RHD form, I checked some parts, steering, pedal box, dashboard etc, to see what was available. To my surprise (as I was sceptical) all parts were available ex stock.
As we know know, RHD was dropped. My question is...'What happened to the parts ?' I did a quick check yesterday, and steering racks, and pedal boxes are still in stock in the UK. The dash is coming up as a back order but with a supply date. And before anyone comments, racks and pedal boxes are not the same as the Fiat Bravo. So what the story ? are these parts for the scrap heap ? It'd be a real shame if somewhere there was a shelfload of RHD Delta parts waiting for a similar fate.
