Title: Prisma 1.6LX head Post by: imprismed on 23 October, 2009, 03:44:33 PM I'm hoping to put back on the road an 8,000 mile 1986 Prisma 1.6LX which I acquired recently and which hasn't seen service since 1988. The main problem is a seized engine and I will either need a reconditioned short engine or will need to replace No.4 piston and liner which have corroded. Currently considering the options here with the workshop in Glasgow who are looking at it for me.
The lower part of the cylinder head is also affected by corrosion to the valve guides and seats, so I'm looking for a good used or reconditioned head as a cost-effective replacement.
