Title: Crankshafts Post by: JohnMillham on 01 October, 2009, 10:10:57 AM A few Augusta crankshafts have broken in recent times, so I have asked Phoenix Crankshafts in Slough for a quote for making new ones. A one off would be £2,500, but if six were ordered, the price drops to £2,000 each plus VAT. They would be made exactly like the original and would be nitrided. At the moment, the turn round time is about 5 months. If anyone is interested, please let me know this month.
Pheonix have made crankshafts for Lambdas and Aprilias. If you had one made, please let me know what you think of it - and their service. They have got Meadows and Austin Seven cranks down to a very reasonable price, as they are relatively easy. If you can recommend anyone else who could be interested in making them, I would love to know.
