Title: Fulvia temperature sender data
Post by: lancialulu on 11 September, 2009, 05:28:30 PM
Does anyone know the temperature sender data re its resistance with temperature?

I would be grateful for data on
Series 1 Jaeger,
Series 2 Jaeger,
Series 2 Veglia and
HF oil temperature gauge.

Any one got any data ideally ambient c20deg and 100 deg Centigrade.

Thanks

Tim

Further on this:

HF oil temp gauge is matched with its sender unit.

Problem is the HF Veglia water temp gauge is not matched with its sender unit.

Tried two differnt senders (one from my HF1600 and one from my Z1600) with two different Veglia water temperature gauges. (one form my Z1600, and one from a spare s3 dash unit).

Both/all combinations measured c 170F (c 160ohm resitance across the sender - not connected) at boiling (should be full scale ie 212F). I therefore need sender unit that is matched to Veglia gauge.

Any ideas?

Tim
