Title: Prototyp Museum Hamburg
Post by: lee69 on 12 August, 2009, 12:31:47 AM
Has anyone been there? It looks like they have a Aprilia Aerodinamica prototype, I believe by Pininfarina (http://www.flickr.com/photos/21532948@N04/3792713114/in/set-72157621960991078/).

Noticed a cool looking single seater called a Polensky Monopoletta (http://www.flickr.com/photos/21532948@N04/3792053015/in/set-72157621960991078/) in one of my Flickr contact's sets, does this suspension look like a Sliding Pillar arrangement or am I showing up my technical ignorance?

Lovely pictures Lee! Thanks. The Aprilia Aerodinamica looks wonderful.

I don’t think the single-seater has sliding pillar – it looks to me more like wishbones possibly with a transverse leaf spring. Very nice though.

I have not been to the museum, but it looks like I should.

Colin
