The last page of this weeks edition of Autosport (July 9th) features Paul Frere reminiscing about the 'Race of My Life'.  The race in question is the 1956 Belgian grand prix in which he drove the Lancia-Ferrari D50 and achieved a podium position.

That's a great article. Can you imagine Coulthard turning up to a Grand Prix in his present capacity as reporter, and being asked by McLaran to try out thier car, then he finishes 2nd, and says, 'Well that was really nice, but I think I'll stick to reporting'
Different days, eh !!

For the second week in a row Lancia features in the 'Race/Rally of My Life'.  This week Miki Biasion tells about the story of Lancia's first win on the Safari Rally in Kenya, driving and integrale.  It is worth a look if only to see the accompanying picture!
