Title: Yorkshire area meeting Post by: carljenkins on 28 April, 2009, 11:01:47 AM I just wondered whether there would be any members in the Yorkshire area interested in re-starting a local meeting? It is quite some years ago now (more than 20!!) since I last went to the Yorkshire area monthly meeting which was then held at the Bay Horse Inn at Goldsborough near Harrogate. It would be good to hear if any of the people who used to go are still members and whether there would be enough interest out there in Yorkshire to get a new regular meet organised.

I tried to stir up a bit of interest last year. One suggestion was a joint meeting with Lancashire at their meeting in Blackburn, I think that they were running that meeting on a sort of ad-hoc basis with the local Alpha club. There should be enough members in the area, it's just a matter of interest. I'm at the AGM this year if any other Yorkshire members want to track me down and chat about it.
