Nasty, that can't have done the engine much good.

But as you say good to see one still competing on the forest tracks.

Come on then - what's the link between this photograph and the cult 80s comedy The Young Ones?

Happy days!

Never noticed the hamster before, guess i was distracted by the lovely remodeling of the bodywork… explains the number plate and the Vivian driving style though!

If I remember rightly shouldn't the number plate be on a Ford Anglia (super-wide carlos fandango special)? ;)

Yes..... memories, this is also an ex-works 1.3 HF (ex Tony Fall Safari Rally car) note the front tyre just about to come off the rim, the Late Paul Howcroft driving and a young Ade Rudler navigating!!!

Got me started now!

1975 Nightwatchman Rally. In desparation mode having just been off for 7 minutes. Still managed to win the event.

I don't remember ever looking that young!

Well I must respond to that...... here's one from the Coronation rally in 1985. Note the lack of front valance on the O/S due to an off on a previous event!

The photos posted here of RWT 5K also relate to the article on 1.3HF in the current (March 2010) Viva Lancia.

The original car appearing on this thread was featured on the CLS stand at Race Retro this weekend and is in very good health.
