Title: Modern problem, old car Post by: HBG on 07 August, 2024, 02:26:28 PM I know, I know, but I'll ask anyway.
I want a cup holder in the Fulvia, possibly two. I thought I had the solution with a clamp on holder I could fix to the passenger grab rail but it clashed with knees and was huge. What do you use when on long trips? I can drive my manual van with one hand as it has a slick 'box and power steering......tried in the Fulvia and got coffee all over me! Title: Re: Modern problem, old car Post by: Spider2 on 11 August, 2024, 10:02:09 AM I presume you are not driving and pouring coffee at the same time so the assumption is someone is in the passenger seat. I get my wife to hold my cup between sips. Worked so far. and did 2,500 miles around Europe last year wihout a drop spilled.

Perhaps a 'drinks hat' is the answer. No need to modify the Fulvia, except perhaps the fitting of darkened windows :) Alan Title: Re: Modern problem, old car Post by: Wangler on 12 August, 2024, 11:31:34 AM Why drink coffee on the go? If I do a long journey and need liquid I sometimes have an energy drink which comes with a flip-lid or similar such as cyclists and other athletes use. Pretty unspillable and tastes better than most takeaway coffee too INO.
