Title: Re: 1600 HF V5 on ebay Post by: HBG on 11 April, 2023, 07:25:47 PM Just so I understand, why would someone sell a V5 if not to allow a recreation to be made?
Title: Re: 1600 HF V5 on ebay Post by: Richard Fridd on 12 April, 2023, 06:12:26 AM That is where the value lies in this item. Or I am I missing something?
Richard Title: Re: 1600 HF V5 on ebay Post by: SanRemo78 on 12 April, 2023, 08:41:50 AM This is just wrong. And it's not the first time I've seen V5s for sale on eBay.
The only reason I know for the retention of a V5 after a car has been scrapped is where you have retained sufficient components to allow the construction of another vehicle for presentation for an IVA inspection after which the new vehicle is issued with an age related registration number, not the donor car's number. If there is an engine available that matches the details on the registration document then there probably isn't an issue. But selling a V5 is tantamount to encouraging wrongdoing. Lock up your Fulvia HF1600 and Fulvia Montecarlos. Title: Re: 1600 HF V5 on ebay Post by: Beckerman67 on 12 April, 2023, 08:52:17 AM Reported this to Ebay yesterday but no action taken as yet.
