Title: Trikappa carburettor
Post by: Dikappa on 08 October, 2022, 04:23:43 PM
A very long shot this time, but you never know what's lingering on a shelve somewhere!
For a friend I'm looking for a Zenith 36 DHK carburettor, as fitted on a Lancia Trikappa....

Thanks!

No idea what a 36 DHK looks like , but I found this new Zenith in some spares that I bought from an old Lancia garage that closed down - probably too recent though

No idea if this relevant, but it was on a shelf at Cavalitto.

@Simon: funny, I have one of these and it too came from a lancia dealer here in Belgium that closed long ago.  Always thought it was used on an aprilia?  (But then surely you would know!)  in any case we can do a joint double carb setup for who knows what!

@Geoff: nog clear to me what is in the pic?  Complete engine?

Here the required Zenith 36 DHK as mounted on an Australian Trikappa.

If you look at the bottom right, of the engine, there is clearly a similarity with Geoff's photo, if you turn it around....
So did Geoff see a Trikappa engine mounting lug at Cavalitto?

Is the Trikappa carb two single barrel carbs (L and R hand) mounted together, or one complex two barrel carb? I think the one  briefly seen was just a single barrel....

Thanks for the picture Sebastien!  It is indeed a one piece dual carb....
