Title: 1998 Y Indicator / hazard light fault
Post by: robertomarkin on 20 May, 2022, 12:22:51 PM
Hi all, whilst driving the Ypsilon yesterday, my indicators started playing up...they'd go on for a few seconds then turn themselves off. This was intermittent for a while but then when getting in the car this morning I have no indicators at all... Or hazards.

My initial thought would be the indicator relay but I can't seem to locate it. Is it possible it's built into the switch or something?

The below link to a Mark 1 Punto fuse location diagram suggests the relay is built into the switch somehow, but how correct this is I don't know! If anyone has any experience with a similar issue or has changed an indicator relay I'd appreciate the assistance. Or if there are any workshop manuals available that would also be useful.

Thanks
Rob

Hello all,

I've done some digging around on the Fiat forums and have located the relay under the steering column if anyone needs to know for the future. A little wiggle around and it works.. probably due another relay on that basis.

Thanks
