It’s the day that Kop Hill Climb opens for entries to run the hill in 2022. So, if you have an interesting pre-war bike or car, a pre 1982 classic that needs to stretch its legs or even a modern car or bike that is so special people will come to see it run then head for the website; www.kophillclimb.org.uk and log in. As regulars will tell you, places go fast so get in as quick as you can with your details. Entries close at the end of May with the lucky 400+ chosen informed a week or so after that. This year you’ll be joining a whole centenary of Austin Sevens, Sunbeams marking their 120th birthday and much pre-war Kop Hill success and to top it all a decade-by-decade selection of delicious Ferraris here to celebrate 75 years of fame and flair. The all-important dates for your calendar? September the 24th and 25th. Remember too, with 16,000 expected spectators, registering to display with your club or as an individual is still very special – a great way to join in, meet like-minded owners and knowledgeable spectators and let’s not forget, help local charities who really benefit from all the monies we raise together.
