Title: 1972 Fulvia Berlina - £4,300
Post by: SteveA on 24 October, 2021, 06:34:41 PM
Hello, here's my very usable Berlina..its not concours  but very enjoyable. It's the twin carb 90 ish bhp version, so goes very well. Recent works include decent quality tyres, exhaust, dampers all round and a service.

It comes with an original Lancia tow bar, rear anti roll bar ( from Coupe) both not fitted, plus various manuals.

It was originally an Italian car , so LHD, but also it means its pretty solid, but does have some bubbling on the left front wing, the paintwork has some small flaws. The interior is generally ok, but there are places where the stitching has frayed.

I do also have some Lancia 2000 alloys which fit, which are available if wanted for an extra price.

To save adding photos here I assume its this one:

Making garage space for an Aston as you need to tow something heavier?

To add photos click on "additional options" below the text entry box, then there's a "choose file" and "more attachments".   Its fairly tedious and doesn't like big file sizes.  The link to the advert should suffice...

Then again, while I'm here, and as I got an old friend VERY excited with the advert and potentially into a lot of trouble domestically (AGAIN) here are the ones from the advert and now they're here, here for posterity.

Sold to Mr Ian Conway who some might remember (its been a while...) sprinted and then raced a number of Fulvia Coupes.  I sent him the advert as a "ulez compliant tow car" (which is sort of what man maths says I "need") and he fell for it big time.  He all but gave away his MGB-GT (he raced an MGB after the Fulvias) to make space for it.

Question - Ian used to live in Mottingham SE London and was looked after by John Day, first at BWE and after at TNI.  He's now near Sparkford in Dorset.  Who knows Fulvias near there?

(I told him he's got to keep hold of the tow bar for when something else catches his eye and it comes my way.)
