Title: Engine support strut
Post by: Wangler on 14 August, 2021, 07:57:05 PM
Hi guys

Iím trying to determine if the adjustable rubber pad on the end engine support bracket under the alternator is meant to be actually touching the subframe. I understand itís not meant to be constantly supporting any weight.

Iím guessing that itís there to stop the torque of the engine from turning it and the gearbox too much.

Thanks
