Title: DRIVE IT DAY 2008 Post by: donw on 19 April, 2008, 04:35:46 PM :) Tomorrow 20th April is DRIVE IT DAY 2008 sponsored by FBHVC all owners of classic/historic vehicles are asked to take them for a drive or if not on the road push it out of the garage onto the drive.

As the sun came out today I also moved my Ducati 748S enjoying the first ride of the year - and saw absolutely no classics on the road during the 20 mile trip.

It looked as if it was enjoying an outing to celebrate long awaited Spring sunshine and the prospect of a season of good events. It could also have been prompted by the FBHVC drive it day.

Then on Sunday, the 20th I was parked at the Kingston Bagpuize roundabout on the A420 as I marshalled on a cycling time trial. On Monday I was followed along the A34 by a "bronzy" Evo. Tomorrow I'm out looking at potential new venues for Oxford Motor Club's Bullnose Rally (held in August). But then I drive my classic nearly everyday; why don't you?
